of Bellingham, Wash., died Sunday in a center, Mrs. Jones was born in Salt
Lake City. She lived in Stockton before moving to Bellingham in 1997. Mrs.
Jones worked as a credit manager for a department store and later was an
executive secretary for California Water Co. Survivors: niece and nephew,
Betty Genuit of Bellingham and Robert Campbell of Salt Lake City; stepson,
F. W. Duke Jones Jr. of Stockton. Services: private. Entombment: Woodland
Rural Mausoleum. Mortuary: Jones-Moles Funeral Home, Bellingham.

29, 2000 {Marion, Kentucky} ---- Linda Jones, 50, died Sunday,
Aug. 27, 2000, at Owensboro Mercy Hospital. The Daviess County coroner’s
office is investigating her death. Surviving are her husband, Steve; a
daughter, Kristi Tischer of Shawnee, Okla.; a son, Matthew of Marion; her
parents, Katie and James E. “Bud” Crider of Marion; a sister, Doris Stout
of Marion; and a brother, Steve Crider of Marion. Services will be at 11
a.m. Wednesday at Gilbert Funeral Home, with burial in Mapleview Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

{Madisonville, Kentucky} — Samuel Jones, 63, of Crofton, died
Sunday, Sept. 3, 2000, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville
of an apparent heart attack. He had been a manager at Topper Motel in Bakersfield,
Calif. He was a member of First Pentecostal Church in Madisonville. Surviving
are his wife, Mary (Lucas); a daughter, Connie Mendoza of Los Angeles;
and two sons, Carlos of Russellville and Gerald of Los Angeles; five sisters,
Bonnie Cordero of Sturgis, Margie Howell of Mortons Gap, Mary Stapleton
of Crofton, Betty Carter of Florence and Doris Cottrell of Hawesville;
a brother, Jerry Ross of Evansville; eleven grandchildren; a great-granddaughter;
and nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday
in Slaughters Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday
at Harris Funeral Home.

{Tell City, Indiana} — Louise Jones, 68, died Wednesday, Sept.
6, 2000, at the Professional Building of complications of cancer. She was
a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Surviving are three daughters, Joyce
McComas of Evansville, Vicky Sturgeon of St. Meinrad and Patty Jones
of Bandon; four sons, Gary and Dale, both of Tell City, Doyle of St. Meinrad
and Rick of Indianapolis; a sister, Gladys Cartwright of Fordsville, Ky.;
a brother, Willy Huff of Fordsville; 15 grandchildren, Lee, Shaun, April,
Jamie, Erica, Robert, Ashley and Erick Jones, Crystal Reid, Brandon and
Samantha Barker, Clinton Neighbors, Natalie McComas and Chris and Joanna
Sturgeon; and four great-grandchildren. Her husband, Ezra, died in 1997.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Huber Funeral Home Tell City Chapel,
with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today
and from 8 a.m. to service time at the funeral home. Memorial contributions

---- Ruth Hall Jones, 79, of Morehead, died Thursday in St.
Claire Medical Center in Morehead. Her husband, Linville Jones, preceded
her in death. Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead is in charge
of arrangements, which are pending.

---- Ruth Hall Jones, 79, of Morehead, died Thursday in St.
Claire Medical Center at Morehead. Mrs. Jones was born April 26, 1921,
in Morgan County, a daughter of the late Frank and Tishia Perkins Hall.
Her husband, Linville Jones, died in 1972. She was retired from Helene
Curtis at Chicago, Ill., and was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Dale Jones of Chicago, Ill., and Kenny Jones of
Battle Creek, Mich.; a brother, Wallace Hall of Las Vegas, Nev.; two grandchildren;
and two great-grandchildren. A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday
at Grassy Lick Cemetery in Morgan County by the Rev. Ben Furman. Northcutt
& Son Home for Funerals at Morehead was in charge of arrangements.

2000 {Oakland City} — Mary D. Jones, 67, died Monday, Sept.
11, 2000, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville of an apparent heart
attack. She was a member of Mackey Church of The Nazarene. Surviving are
two daughters, Doris Richardson of Oakland City and Connie Crow of Petersburg;
four sons, Donald Groves of Washington, and Robert, Frederick and David
Allen Groves, all of Winslow; three sisters, Alberta Abell of Mesa, Ariz.,
and Margaret Broshears and Dorothy Smithhart, both of Evansville; three
brothers, George Jones of Sullivan and Jim and Elmer Jones, both of Evansville;
12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m.
Friday at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel, with burial in Williams Cemetery
in Pike County. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 8 a.m.
to service time at the chapel.
