Evansville Courier & Press....September 6, 2000 {Henderson, Kentucky} — Steven Leslie “Waldo” Henderson, 50, died Sunday, Sept. 3, 2000, near Old Shawneetown. The Gallatin County coroner is investigating. He was a member of the Moose 732. Surviving are his wife of 33 years, Linda; two daughters, Michele Gage and Stephanie Henderson, both of  Henderson; four sisters, Mary Littrel and Donna Riley, both of Henderson, Ruby Dismang of Bourbonnais, Ill., and Sylvia Cuadra of California; a brother, Morris of Henderson; a granddaughter, McKenzie Gage; and nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Tapp Funeral Home, with burial in Fairmont Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.

Funeral at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Carman Funeral Home in Flatwoods by the Rev. Howard Reynolds and the Rev. Kenneth Fox. Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods. Visitation from 6 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.



Danville Register and Bee....September 13, 2000 {HALIFAX, Va.}---- Robert Neal Henderson, 81, of 1016 Woodgrove Trail died Monday, Sept. 11, 2000, at Woodveiw Nursing Home. Born May 22, 1919, in Halifax County, he was the son of William K. Henderson and Annie Hastings Henderson. He was married to Nancy Norman Henderson, who survives. He was a member of the V.F.W., American Legion, Shriners and a veteran of World War II. He was also a member of St. John's Episcopal Church. In addition to his wife of the residence, survivors include three sons, Robert Henderson Jr. of Oxford, N.C.; Billy Henderson of Halifax and Gary Henderson of Gladys; two brothers, Lawrence Henderson of Halifax and William Henderson of Burlington, N.C.; one sister, Helen Brahe of Halifax; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by one son, Charles Henderson. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at St. John's Episcopal Church Cemetery with Father David Booher officiating. The family will receive friends 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, at Powell Funeral Home, and at other times at the residence of Billy and Pat Henderson, 1016 Woodgrove Trail in Halifax.
