Robyn and Mark's WeddingOne of the highlights of the year 2002 was our visit to St. Louis to meet Mark's family, including their new granddaughter, Ashleigh Elizabeth. We met Mark in 2000 when we visited St. Louis, but I didn't want to go to the wedding in April without meeting the rest of his family. This page is going to be organized by separate slide shows for the various occasions. The first will be pictures from that visit. Then it was time for the wedding. Joe and I travelled by car this time to arrive on the Tuesday before the Saturday wedding. It was amazing how Robyn had prepared for this whole event by herself while holding a very busy job and enjoying the new family she was preparing to join. She didn't have her mom there to help but I was there for the last few days as a diversion for her nervousness. The next slideshow shows a few snaps before the wedding and at the rehearsal dinner.
