A celebration of Edith's 101 Years

I'm sorry to tell you that Edith passed away in 2004 at age 104, mentally alert but after problems relating to an injury she suffered on her ankle. I miss her so much. She was a grand lady.

Edith was born in 1900 and has enjoyed a full life and continues in good health. My mother, May Kennedy, and Edith were second cousins and wrote weekly letters to each other until my mother's health failed in 1989. She was a really good friend to me during the very difficult last six years of my mother's life when I wrote to her and poured my heart out and she is very special to me.
