My James JOHNSON
seems to have served in the King's Orange Rangers, a
Loyalist Regiment in the Orange Co/Bergen Co/NYC area. I don't believe he
was in for the whole war as he married the daughter of another Loyalist in
the U.S. about 1790 so he was still in the U.S. at that time, and
the
whole group moved to Canada in 1791. In other words he was not with the
King's Orange Rangers when they were eventually posted to Nova Scotia.
Obviously I have no pension number etc.
