Additional info: The reason I have joined the Johnson Site is my 4th GGrandFather has no history as a Taylor prior to his marriage and after having the FTDNA YDNA test the only matches that I am getting are Johnsons and variations.  I also found a 19 year old Ransom Johnson living with my GGGG Grandfather in Pike Co., GA in 1850.   This Ransom Johnson was b. in SC.   In the 1860 Census Ransom is married to Elizabeth R. Duffee(?)  and has 3 boys William, James and Thomas.  I feel I will get the answers I am looking for soon and thanks for the help in advance.
