Walter Jackson Webb, Sr.

Walter Jackson Webb was the oldest child of Zachariah Taylor Webb and Mary Ann "Molly" Warren Webb.  They were married in 1878 in December and Walter was born in December of 1879.   They had married in Pontotoc County, Mississippi, but he was said to have been born in Texas (either Bell or Coryell County).  If this is true, then they must have moved out there as soon as they were married.

He married Kellie Bockman December 31, 1905 in Callahan County, Texas near to the town of Clyde, if not right there in that town.  He died February 13, 1920.  Apparently, he caught a bad cold or flu virus and died from it.  He probably had a bad case of pneumonia.  Kelly Bockman was born September 2, 1886 and died on September 20, 1971.  She is listed as Mrs. Veneta W. Scott. I assume the W. was for Webb.  She lived out in Lamesa, Texas and died there then she was disinterred and move to the Clyde Cemetery to be buried next to her first husband Walter.  Kellie may have been married several times since Walter's death.
