Miss Lackey is wed to Mr. Higginbotham
Billie Paulette Lackey of Conway and Jeremy Lawrence Higginbotham of Maud,
Texas, were united in marriage at 1 p.m. Saturday (June 17, 2000) on Hot Springs
Mountain in Hot Springs.
The bride is a daughter of Preston and Billie Lackey of Jasper. The groom is a
son of Michael and Debbie Flowers of Maud and Tim and Teresa Higginbotham of
Little Rock.
The Rev. Carmen Moshier of Hot Springs officiated at the double-ring ceremony.
The outdoor wedding ceremony took place in a pagoda overlooking the city of Hot
Springs. Arrangements of white flowers and green ferns adorned with pink bows
flanked the ceremony. White lace, green ivy and pink ribbon also decorated the
pagoda.
The bride walked to "Bottomless Love." The song "Crash" was immediately played
after the vows.
The bride wore a full-length, sleeveless, pale mint green dress with an ivory
lace overlay. She wore a pearl necklace with a diamond and pearl drop pendant
with matching earrings. Her headpiece was a beaded pearl headband. She carried a
bouquet of pale pink roses, accented with ivory, and baby's breath tied with
pink and lace ribbon.
A luncheon and reception followed the ceremony at Gilligan's Restaurant.
After a honeymoon in Hot Springs, the couple are at home in Maud.
