Thomas Cotton was born on 28 October 1695 at CT. He was the son of John Cotton and Anne Lake. He married Martha Williams, daughter of Samuel Williams and Sarah May, on 14 April 1725. He died on 31 August 1770 at Pomfret, CT., at age 74.
