Maria Susan Camp was born on 21 February 1836 at ME. She was the daughter of Charles Dibble Camp and Kathia Lorana Cotton. She married Franklin Witherly, son of Thomas J. Witherly and Catherine Billings, in January 1859.10 She moved to Santa Cruz circa 1882. She lived in 1910 at San Jose County Road, Washington Twp, Alameda Co, CA.. She died on 15 March 1918 at Santa Cruz, CA., at age 82.
