David Starrett was born on 27 December 1736 at Warren, ME.. He was the son of William Starrett and Mary Gamble. He married Mary Mcclintock, daughter of William McClintock and Agnes (---), on 28 October 1760. He signed the Association Test of 1776. He married Elizabeth Thorndike on 8 February 1787. He died on 19 March 1813 at Francestown, NH., at age 76.
