He married Beatrice Lydia Dulaney, daughter of Franklin Dulaney, on 5 July 1919 at Greene Co, PA.. He married Olive Kiger, daughter of Birbridge Enos Kiger and Mary Elizabeth Phillips, on 17 October 1946. He died on 19 November 1960 at Waynesburg, Greene Co, PA., at age 65.
