Anderson - Frederick Anderson served in the American Revolution while living in South Carolina. He died in Amite Co. MS. His descendants moved on to Louisiana and Texas.
Bundy - William Bundy, the apparent progenitor of this family in America, moved from Rhode Island to North Carolina in 1663, settling in the area of Perquimans & Pasquotank Co. My line of Bundys moved to Marion Co. IL in avout 1814.
Doty - Edward Doty came to America on the Mayflower. He is the possible ancestor of my Ephraim Doty, b. abt. 1756. My Doty's moved from New Jersey, through Virginia and Tennessee to Jackson Co. IL.
Franklin - Esom Franklin, born 1772, is the farthest back I know this line. Most of his life was spent in Tennessee. He died in Perry Co. IL.
Heyduck - Jacob Heyduck came to America from Baden in 1856, settling in Marion Co. IL.
Larue - Shadrach Larue came to America from Brest, France in about 1807, through the port of Annapolis. His son James ended up in Angelina Co. TX by 1860.
McFerrin - The McFerrins were leaders in Tennessee Methodism.
Ogden - The Ogden family, originating in New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania, migrated to Henry Co. IL in the early 1830s, and on to Texas shortly after the great hurricane of 1900.
Pate - The Pates arrived early in Virginia. I trace mine back to Bedford Co. VA. They ended up in Jackson Co. IL by 1842 by way of north central Tennessee.
Sill - Register Sill is likely connected to the Sill family of Chester Co. PA (where the Register family also lived). He first appears in the records in the mid 1790s as a ranger on the frontier in Westmoreland Co. PA. He lated moved to Shelby Co. KY and Washington Co. IN. His descendants settled in Illinois.
