19 Frank St., Belfast, Northern Ireland. Home of my grandfather Felix Furlonger.
18 Crossley St., Belfast, Northern Ireland. Home of my great grandfather John Simpson.
161 Templemore Ave., Belfast, Northern Ireland. Wartime home of my grandfather Felix Furlonger. German bombs fell on the hospital directly across the street from this house.
24 Thorndyke St., Belfast, Northern Ireland. Home of John and Eliza (Simpson) Robinson. Aunt Lizzie was the sister of my grandmother Annie (Simpson) Furlonger. The opposite side of this street was destroyed by a German mine that was intended for the Belfast harbour.
45 Pommern Parade, Belfast, Northern Ireland.
The last residence of my
grandparents Felix and Annie
(Simpson) Furlonger.

55 Dromore St., Belfast, Northern Ireland. The first home of George and Deborah (Furlonger) Ettie. This is where I was born. If you look carefully you can see that the brickwork on this house is different from the neighbours. This is because this house was bombed during WWII. As a very young child I used to play in the hallway. When I was about 2 or 3 years old the flooring had to be removed for repairs and an unexploded bomb was found under it.
