Henrich LEONARD Lannert , grand-son of Johann Heinrich Lannert, was born on 11 Jun 1781 in Heidelberg Twp, Berks Co, PA, US. He was baptized on 11 Jun 1781 in Heidelberg Twp, Berks Co, PA, US. St. Daniels Lutheran Church He signed a will on 28 Feb 1846 in Wayne Co, IN, US. Henrich died on 2 Mar 1846 at the age of 64 in East Germantown, Wayne Co, IN, US. He had his estate probated on 29 Oct 1878 in Hamilton Co, IN, US. According to the State Of Indiana,Hamilton County (Wayne was crossed out ) Circuit Court Proceedings, Henry Leonard's estate was not settled until October 29th, 1878, a year after the death of his widow, Mary Boughner ( June 1877 ), and more than thirty years after his death! His sons, George and John ( Johannes on the receipts ) Leonard, served as executors. Henry Leonard's four surviving children...Mary Ann Burns, Rebecca Dill, John Leonard, and George Leonard...each received an equal share of $120.71. Unfortunately, by this time, three of Henry's children...Henry Leonard, Jr, Elizabeth Waltz, and Sarah Schock had also died. So their share of the estate was divided amongst their children. History of Wayne Co, IN:
At a later period, Pennsylvania Germans began to settle in this part of the township; and the immigration continued many years. John Huntsinger, Frederick Waltz, Henry Leonard (Lannert), and others, natives of Pa., came from Ohio, about the year 1820. Huntsinger settled a mile north-west of Germantown, and the others near the town. Joseph Schock, cousin from Pa., in about 1823, settled near the south-west corner of the town, and still resides on the farm, a bachelor, at the age of 73 years.

Henry lived a short time in Montgomery County, OH before moving to Wayne County.
