| Notes for Elizabeth WOLTER |
From "The Life and Times of C.F. Botz":
Elizabeth was born Oct. 7, 1850 in Trier, Germany. She came to Detroit Michigan when she was only 1 year old. At the age of 14, she moved with her family to Stearns County.
Elizabeth was a teacher and taught near Rockville, Minnesota. She married Jacob Botz at the age of 21.
A very quiet person, was Elizabeth. She was gentle in speech, good-humored and very hospitable. She and Jacob had a large circle of friends, as one of their character traits was an interest in people, far and wide; besides attending to their work.
Elizabeth died, aged 87, on July 21, 1937 in Sauk Centre. She is buried in the St. Paul's Catholic Cemetery there.43 |
