Senior Poem
"Seniors"

S stands for Seniors,
  So merry and bright,
Always full of mischief,
  Morning, noon and night.

E is for Elmer
  Whose head's in a whirl,
Because he's in love
  With a Senior girl.

H is for Helen,
  For Parmele it stands,
Always bright and happy
  With a helping hand.

W is for Wiley,
  In the lime-light again;
For when a man marries
  His troubles begin.

L is for Lester,
  Our future preacher;
He's the pet of the class,
  And also his teacher.

G is for Guy,
  So witty and wise;
A genuine cut-up,
  And small for his size.

M is for Mary,
  Another Senior Miss;
She's one member of our class
  Who thinks studying is bliss.

H is for Helen,
  So sunny and fair,
With a bright, happy smile,
  And electric curly hair.

M is for Mable,
  A quaint little Miss;
She's sweet sixteen
  And never been kissed.

M is for Mildred,
  Who wears specks and looks stern,
But leave it to her,
  She surely can learn.

N is for Nellie,
  A demur little Miss;
Take her away
  And she'd surely be missed.

T is for teacher,
  Both kind and true;
We love them dearly,
  And so would you.

Mable Daniels
