JOSEPH ADDISON SCARBORO, born August 8, 1857 in Bulloch County, Georgia, died February 29, 1932 in Statesboro, Bulloch County, Georgia.  Married LUCINDA GAY BOWEN October 14, 1875 in Bulloch County, Georgia, daughter of JOHN BOWEN and ANNA GAY.  Born August 22, 1861 in Bulloch County, Georgia, died February 16, 1933 in Portal, Georgia.  Both are buried in Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Bulloch County, Georgia.
