CHARLES SCARBORO, b. December 1877, Marion County, Florida; d. 1959, Madison County, Florida; m. DAISY LORENE HENDRIX; b. 1877; d. 1946, Madison County, Florida.

From RV: Edith M. Scarboro, who was then (early 90's) a writer of American Baptist Association Sunday school literature. She said, "he (J. A.) was the father of my husband's father, who was Charles Scarboro..." From this I took it that Charles was J. A.'s son. Could that have been a nickname? She didn't seem to know much at all about J. A. and didn't tell me much about Charles, other than that he was a Baptist preacher and that he lived with her and her husband in Miami the last ten years of his life. She didn't mention her husband's name. So I have little to go on.

Both are buried at Evergreen Cemetery, Greenville, Madison County, Florida
