Ernest (Monk) died in the last five years.
He was a combat veteran of the
Battle
of the Bulge in Luxembourg/Germany and
witnessed German concentration
camps. His nerves were shot from the
war and he suffered a lot from anxiety. He
did various jobs mostly house painting. He
was married (his wife survives) and had one child, Omega, and two stepchildren,
boys, Bobby and ?. Children

WK: Joseph was a German
prisoner of war captured in northern
Italy
and held near
Munich. He
was treated very badly and was hospitalized for a long time and in very poor condition when he finally got home.
He was a very small man and looked Italian/Spanish, dark skin, black
curly hair. My
mom has some information that there was a Spanish strain in the family
from the

William Kent: Thomas Lashley married
Jeanne Hitt and has three children, Thomas Jr., a
principal of the local school and minor league baseball pitcher and
author of a vanity press novel, Brad and Clint.
Brad is also a teacher, special ed in Pensacola
area, and Clint is a counselor at the Florida
Boys Ranch near Live Oak. Clint just
married and had his first child, David,
who was born with a congenital defect in the liver and just had surgery at
Shands Teaching Hospital in Gaineville and is not doing well.
I would ask for your prayers for little David and his family.
He may not live.
He was their first child and is only about 6 weeks old. |
