Notes on my Baptist Site

For many years, I have endeavored to find out information on my great-grandfather, Joseph Addison Scarboro.  His family, his religion, his beliefs...  these tidbids have fascinated me from the time I was about 11 years old. 

Listening to relatives and hearing the stories of the south held my attention to the point of not going out and playing with my siblings, let alone my cousins, when they visited.  Stories of J. A.'s Baptist mission, (I cannot find a word to correctly describe his life-works), has made the addition of his peers necessary to have a clearer view of his surroundings and daily life.

Having said that, this site is dedicated to all whose quest for knowledge is unflagable and unstoppable.
