State of North Carolina, County of Wake In the name of God, I Thomas J. Hendon, being of sound mind, memory, and desirous of settling my worldly affairs -------
1. All debts be paid.2. To my daughter, Ludelia E. York, one lot of land beginning on the Chatham and Durham County line near O'Kellys Chapel -- toward O'Kellys 90 1/4 Acres which I value at $422.00. I also will to her what she has had heretofore and $50.00 in money. Land is to go to her heirs at her death.
3. I will to my son, Dr. William T. Hendon, one lot of land containing, according to measurement, 90 1/4 Acres valued as $363.00 beginning at the S. W. corner of the lot willed to Ludelia E. York, etc. Also all that I have previously given to him.
4. I will that $363.00 be given from my estate to the bodily heirs of my daughter, Mary Z. Cole, but from the $363.00, One hundred dollars be deducted, leaving to be paid to said heirs, $263.00. The $100.00 is deducted for medical bills which I paid for my daughter, Mary Z. Cole.
5. If there is any estate left over - - - devide in three for L.E. York, Dr. William T. Hendon and the heirs of Mary Z. Cole.
6. I appoint my son, William T. Hendon, Executor.
