     John Manson was born cir. Feb 1803 at Achoy, Par. of Watten, CAI, SCT.2 He was christened on 20 Feb 1803 in the Par. of Watten, CAI, SCT; Entry reads: 20 Feb 1803 William Manson in Achoy and Christan Young his spouse had a son baptised named John. Witn: John McIver in Achoy and Peter Finlayson in Achamarrel.2
     John Manson died bef. 1806 ?Watten, CAI, SCT; (presumed as not with family in 1806 census).
     John Manson was not found in the census of 1806 Achavrole, Watten, CAI, SCT, although rest of family alive at time were.3 He was not found in 1881 in CAI, SCT.4
