From The Daily Item, Tuesday, August 7, 2007 page B7. Harold F. Hendershot, 73, of Turbotville--Harold F. Hendershot, 73, of County Line Road, passed away Sunday, Aug, 5, 2007, at his home. He was born June 13, 1934, in Mausdale, a son of the late Franklin Jacob and Anna Pauline (Golder) Hendershot. He was married to the former Donna J. Golder on May 12, 1956, in Virginia. They were married for 44 years before Donna passed away on Jan. 9, 2001. Harold was a truck driver for Royer Limestone Quarry. Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, Audie and Linda Hendershot of Muncy, Jeff and Suzanne Hendershot of Turbotville and Ronald and Saundra Hendershot of Muncy; nine grandchildren two great-grandchildren; and one brother, Melvin Hendershot of New Columbia. In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Viola Hendershot. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Brooks Funeral Home, 207 Broadway St., Turbotville, where the funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday with Pastor David Hendershot officiating.
