Betty had placed Bridget as the first child of Leonard Helm.  Bob Law placed her as the last child of the couple.  No birth date is available for either Bridget or John Madden.  However, based on the data from the Sons of the Revolution Manuscript discussed elsewhere in this website, and a reference from T. K. Cartmel, “Shenandoah Pioneers”, 1908, Pg 470,  Cartmel erred in listing her as Bridget Madison, but was correct for the youngest daughter of Leonard Helm.  Therefore, based on Leonard's birth in 1660, Bridget would not likely to have been born before 1690 if she was the third daughter (Youngest daughter - 5th Child).  I suggest that John Madden was grown about 1720, so his birth was about 1700.  So this suggests that both were born about 1700, +/- about 10 years.  Early data for John Madden is sparse, so there is little data to use for him.

If Bridget was the last child, she would have been born after Leonard, Jr. in 1730.  That date is too late for the above hypothesis.  (The conclusion is that she was simply the youngest daughter at Leonard's death.)

The chart below shows the descendants of Leonard (abbreviated) up to Bridget, then, only the Bridget and Madden descendants.  The birth - death dates for those presumably still living or recently deceased are marked "Private".  The chart shows a maximum of 10th generations from the father of Leonard Helm, whoever he may have been.
