How many ways can one spell H*D*P*TH ...
A recent combing of the USA telephone directory white pages, as provided by yahoo's people search on the internet. Gives us a glimpse of how our present day hdpth spelling variants are spread across the USA ... yes we are aware that not all individuals have their phone numbers listed publicly [by choice], and that there are possible duplications of entries in those directories, due to the use of separate fax and or computer lines, plus second phone lines in the same households ... never the less we thought these were interesting statistics. date: 02/08/04

- Hudspeth being the most popular with 1,996 listings, and has the highest concentration in Texas with 419 listed, followed by 159 in NC, 153 in CA and 149 in Arkansas ...
- Hedgepeth being the second most popular with 1,171 listings, and has the highest concentration in North Carolina with 454 listed, followed by 124 in VA, and 103 in Mississippi ...
I am guess'in we isn't too fond of Delaware, North Dakota or New Hampshire, as none were found there ...
