This trophy / Bronze Sculpture was snapped up recently on
nope we were not the winning bidder ... the Chevy collector who walked away with this item, gave us permission to post these pictures here :)
After a few searches on the internet, we have yet to locate any data about this particular item ...
Hopefully someone will contact us with a lead or two, perhaps the actual story behind this item :)

here is the description for this item that was on ebay ...
8-3/4" tall x 9" wide bronze or bronze plated sculpture of a confederate charging cavalry soldier jumping a broken cannon with drawn sword in hand. The name plate reads: THE CHARGER 1963 C.H. HEDGEPATH and has the chevy emblem on both sides. I would assume that this was an award for salesmanship at a Chevrolet dealership. The sculpture was made by AVARD FAIRBANKS 1963. Base has a Balfour label on bottom, roughly 6 lbs in weight ... auto gm general motors memorabilia car horse cavalier civil war csa art southern military ...
