Abraham Lagofsky (Login) and Lena Goodseidt

 

Abraham (Lagofsky) Login was born in 1858 in Russia and died in 1936, at age 78.

Abraham was an inn keeper in Russia. He had five sisters and one brother. The family had musical talent and one member was supposed to have sung in the opera in the old country. A cousin of the family, Nathan Schultz, was a well known baritone in the Metropolitan Opera under the name Norman Scott. Abraham was about 78 when he died of bronchial pneumonia 

Abraham married Lena (Goodseidt) Goodsaid  in 1876. 

Lena was born in 1854 in Belarus, Russia. She had only one sibling, a brother.  This brother had a son, Morris Goodseidt. Morris changed his name to Goodsaid. Morris Goodsaid had two twin boys, Alan and George who were born on 16 Sep 1921 and a son Daniel born in 1930.  Alan married Olive and they had no children. George married Celestina Zalduondo and they had two sons: Miguel and Frederica. George then married Laura and they had two sons, Ira and Paul. George and Laura were killed in a train wreck in June 1972 and their sons were then raised by Alan and Olive. Alan died on 3 Jun 1993 and Olive died 18 Dec 1998. Daniel married Mary Daly and they had a son John.

Abraham and Lena and their family changed their name to Login after coming to America in 1907 except for Gertrude and Anna who were already married.
