George Isaac Frary's family stayed on the Island about 1891 to homestead. Alice, George's wife, was a school teacher. She died in September 1897. A stone marked her grave and was later fenced.
The Syracuse Historical Commission placed a monument near Alice Frary's grave in 1990.

2008 I rode out there but didn't get a photo. The place I thought it should be had a satellite dish in it so I didn't go look. Now think that must of been it. 2009 - got these photos by e-mail from Clay, the curator of the Antelope Island State Park. Thanks Clay.
