Both William and Mary are buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California.

Willam Brown MARTIN and Mary Anna ALT had the following children:

On 25 Apr 1878, in Ottawa LaSalle County, California he married Elisabeth "Elise" FISCHER. She was born 14 Sep 1855 in Vacha, Sacshen-Weimer-Eisenach, Thuringia, Germany and died 14 Jan 1950 at Sunny Pine Lodge, Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California. She was the daughter of Eduard FISCHER and Marie Elise MACHETANZ. Both John and Elise are buried in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Glendale, Los Angeles County, California.
  2. William MARTIN (William) born about 1858 in Ottawa, LaSalle County, California and died before 1917.
  3. Samuel MARTIN (William) born about 1859 in Ottawa, LaSalle County, California and died before 1917.
  4. Emeline MARTIN (William) born 6 Mar 1862 in Ottawa, LaSalle County, Illinois and died 9 May 1944 in Glendale, Los Angeles County, California. On 11 Jun 1883 in Ottawa, LaSalle County, Illinois, she married Montague James WHEELER. He was born 28 Jan 1862 in Ottawa, LaSalle County, Illinois and died 30 Oct 1950 in Hayward, Alameda County, California. He was the son of William WHEELER and Elizabeth E BROWN. Both Emeline and Montague are buried in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Glendale, Los Angeles County, California.
  5. Henry Favier MARTIN (William) born 17 Jul 1863 in Ottawa, LaSalle County, Illinois and died 20 Aug 1952 in Flushing, Queens County, New York. On 23 Sept 1893, in St Augustine, Pennsylvania he married Josephine Mary MURPHY, daughter of Patrick MURPHY and Amanda Mc GUIRE. Josephine was born 10 Jul 1871 in New York City, New York and died 4 Oct 1946 in Flushing, Queens County, New York. Both Henry and Josephine are buried in St Mary's Cemetery, Flushing, Queens County, New York.

  2. Edward William MARTIN (John, William) born 18 Jan 1881 in Ottawa, LaSalle County, Illinois and died 10 Mar 1955 at home in Riverside, Riverside County, California. He married (1) Lula Alverna HOWER on 22 Sep 1904. She was born 12 Aug 1884 in Olesburg, Kansas and died 5 Jun 1912 at home in Riverside, Riverside County, California. She was the daughter of John G HOWER and Samantha B ALEY. Edward married (2) Nina Winona SHAFT on 22 Jan 1914. Nina was born 11 Mar 1882 in Craigsville, Wells County, Indiana and died 14 Jan 1973 at the Parkview Community Hospital in Riverside, Riverside County, California. Emeline married (2 )between 1920-1931 James Clarence MCINTURFF.
