Robert LAYN was born about 1747, and married Ann BURGESS  26 Mar 1793 in Shotesham All Saints. They have 12 children, born in Alburgh and Kirby Cane, Norfolk.

Elizabeth...Baptized in 1794 in Kirby Cane. Elizabeth married William Barker.
Susannah...Baptized in 1794 in Kirby Cane. She married Robert Budling or Rudling.
Ann...Baptized in 1797 in Kirby Cane. She married James Baughton.
Susan...Baptized in 1797 in Kirby Cane. I have no further information. 
Mary...Baptized in 1798 in Kirby Cane. I have no further information.
Robert...Baptized in 1799 in Kirby Cane. He married Mary and raised his family mainly in Seething, Norfolk.
Sarah...Baptized and buried 1802 in Alburgh, NFK.
Keziah...Baptized 1803 and married John Felmingham. Keziah is buried in Mendham, SFK.
Harriet...Baptized 1805 in Alburgh. She dies in 1808.
John...Baptized 1806 in Alburgh. He married Mary and moved to Swaffham, NFK.
William Thomas (my ancestor)...Baptized in 1808 in Alburgh. He married Rachel SMITH, and they have 8 children in Woodton, NFK. 
Martha...Baptized in 1810. I have no further information. 

I descend from William Thomas LAYN and Rachel SMITH.  In the 1881 census and beyond, William "Tom" Thomas Layn and Rachel  are each living with a separate daughter.
