William CLARKE, a widower, married Mary STANNARD, bc 1761, in Eye, Suffolk on April 13, 1789. I do know know where William was from. Mary STANNARD's family is in the Eye records all the way back to the beginning of the parish's record-keeping.

William CLARKE and Mary STANNARD have the following children.... that I have found so far. I suspect their are others, born in-between their residence in Eye and when they arrived in Westhall....

Samuel....bc 1790. Married Elizabeth LOW. 
Martha....bc 1792. Married Robert LOW.
Isaac....bc 1794. Married Sarah COOPER.
Mary....bc 1794. Had three children in Westhall with the surname of CLARKE. 
Danford John....bc 1797.
Hannah....bc 1799. (My great great great grandmother). Married William GOODRUM.
Charlotte....bc 1810. Married Samuel REDGRAVE.
