John ATKINS/ADKINS was born in 1806 in Fundenhall, and baptized in 1806 in Tacolneston. He was the son of Mary ATKINS, bc 1780, and the grandson of John ATKINS and Elizabeth BAXTER.

Mary....bc 1780. Mary was the mother of John ATKINS, bc 1806, sometimes spelt ADKINS.

John ATKINS bc 1806 in Fundenhall and baptised in Tacolneston married Sarah MULLENGER Oct 14, 1828 in Morley St Peter. Sarah was from Tivetshall and baptised in Dickleburgh. They raised their family in Fundenhall. John and Sarah had the following children....

Sarah.... bc 1829 in Tacolneston. Married George  GOODRUM Dec 30, 1846 in Fundenhall.
Rachel.... bc 1831 in Fundenhall. Married Stephen PEARCE. After Stephen died, Rachel married Samuel GOODRUM, brother to the above George GOODRUM. 
James....bc 1833 in Fundenhall. Married Mary. 
William....bc 1835 in Forncett St Peter. Married Harriet ARCHER. 
John....bc 1840.
Mary Ann....bc 1842 in Fundenhall. Married Henry BUCK.
Charlotte....bc 1844 in Fundenhall. Married Charles GOODRUM, brother to the above George GOODRUM and Samuel GOODRUM.
Robert....bc 1849 in Fundenhall. Married Elizabeth LAND in 1871.
