Not necessarily correct but most likely provided by a famly member as a representative to the book for Sandy Twp tho' now retired and living in Canton in 1881. He was the fourth child of a family of seven. Arrived in Stark co with parents about 17 Mar 1828 and settled in Sandy Twp. Would have been about 19 years old. Thomas was a mill wright by trade as was his father. Lived on a farm near Waynesburg until 1846 then moved to a family 4 miles N of Waynesburg until 1859. Then moved into Canton as he was elected to the office a Auditor of Stark co OHIO. He also served as land Assessor for the townships of Canton, Osnaburg, Pike, Paris and Sandy. Had eight children by Sarah Brothers, 5 of whom were living when this article was written. His farm was on the Canton Waynesburg Rd about 4 miles from Waynesburg about 135 acres.2
