Birth 9 May 1912 Earletta M was born on 9 May 1912 at Minnesota.  (SSDI information.)  Even tho Earletta appears on the census of 1920 and 1930 as a daughter of Ida, I do not think that is so.  More likely that she was a grand daughter.   Possibly the daughter of Hazel
Cen1920 1920 Earletta M Eastman appears on the 1920 census in the household of Ida May Slater at 3108 Pillsburg Rd West, Minneapolis, Hennepin county, Minnesota. Ida is a 50 year old widow. We do not believe that she was truly a widow, at this point, as husband Burton was incarcerated in the State Corrections facility at South Stillwater, Minnesota. Ida is a type setter for an advertizer. Daughter Hazel is 29 and enployed as forelady in a laundry. Earletta is 7 years old.

Cen 1930 2 April 1930 Earletta M Eastman daughter of  Ida May Slater were found on the 1930 US census taken on 2 April 1930 at 334 East 15th street, Minneapolis, Hennepin county, Minnesota. Ida Slater Eastman is a 60 year old widow. She was first married when she was 21. Ida is employed as a saleslady in a radio shop. They Rent their living space for $20 a months, and do NOT have a radio. She was born in Minnesota, parents born in Vermont. Earletta is 17 and does office work for a department store.
 
25 April 1970 On 25 April 1970 Earletta married Wilbur I Brandon in Santa Clara, California.  Earletta was 56 years old and Wilbur was 57 years old. There is no indication whether either was married before but since her name is given as Eastman, if she was married before it is likely that she was divorced.1

Death 11 March 2008 Earletta M died on 11 March 2008 at 53 N Mountain Rd, at Apache Junction, Pinel county, Arizona at age 95. She is on the Socieal Security Death Index as Earletta Brandon.
