1688 Four of the children of Thomas Browne remained in Massachusetts while three of them came to Stonington, CT, before 1688. They purchased and received large tracts of land most of which was located in the present town of North Stonington, bounded as follows: the western boundary was nearly all on Ossekonk Swamp, the northern bounds of which extended from the Ossekonk brook on the west on Shunnock River on the east, joining on the north the lands of the late Stephen Avery and lands of the Maine family, to the lands of the Randall family; easterly on the Randall land to the Richardson's possessions; on the south by the Palmer family land and Miner territory; and on the west by the Wheeler family land up to the said Ossekonk Swamp.

Eleazer's house stood in the eastern part of the lands purchased by the Brown brothers, about twenty-five rods south of the Brown Cemetery, and north of the Miner Meeting-house. Headstones were erected to their graves by the late Daniel Brown. Probably these were the first interments in these grounds. He was a farmer and stock-raiser. See thoses stones here.

Ebenezer/Eleazor came with two of his brothers to the Stonington area of Connecticut. The house that Eleazer builtt in Stonington stood on the Easterly part of the lands purchased by the three Brown brothers, about twenty-five rods South of the Brown Cemetery, and north of the Miner Meetinghouse. His wife also inherited land from her grandfather Bryan Pendelton.1
 
Marriage 18 October 1693 Eleazer Brown married Ann Pendleton, who was 25 years old, daughter of Capt. James Pendleton and Hannah Goodenow, 18 October 1693 in Stonington or Westerly, New London county, Connecticut.

i. Jonathan Brown was born on 12 Jul 1694 in Stonington, New London, Connecticut. Jonathan married Hannah Richardson . Hannah was born in 1695 in Stonington, CT.

ii. James Brown was born on 1 Jul 1696 in Stonington, New London, Connecticut, died on 2 Feb 1750 in Stonington, New London, Connecticut, at age 53, and was buried in Brown Cemetery, North Stonington, Connecticut. Married Elizabeth Randall

iii. Eleazer Brown was born on 4 May 1698 in Stonington, New London, Connecticut and was christened on 14 Aug 1698 in Stonington, New London, Connecticut.

iv. Annah Brown was born on 1 Feb 1700 in Stonington, New London, Connecticut, was christened on 30 Jun 1700 in Stonington, New London, Connecticut, and died on 11 Mar 1766 in Stonington, New London, Connecticut, at age 66. m. DEACON THOMAS MAIN, April 20, 1720, Stonington, New London Co., CT. He was b. July 19, 1700; d. 1771.

v. Ebenezer Brown was born on 28 Jun 1702 in Stonington, New London, Connecticut, was christened on 16 Aug 1702 in Stonington, New London, Connecticut, and died on 24 Mar 1725 in Stonington, New London, Connecticut, at age 22. He married Elizabeth Main.


vi. Mary Brown was born on 28 Nov 1703 in Stonington, New London, Connecticut and was christened on 12 Jun 1704 in Stonington, New London, Connecticut. m. WAITE PALMER, Abt. 1726; b. May 27, 1711, Stonington, New London Co., CT.

vii. Patience Brown was born on 28 Dec 1704 in Stonington, New London, Connecticut. Patience married Clement West .

viii. Hannah Brown was born on 12 Dec 1705 in Stonington, New London, Connecticut, was christened on 26 Jun 1708 in Stonington, New London, Connecticut, and died on 4 Jan 1727 in Stonington, New London, Connecticut, at age 21. Hannah married Clement Wilcox .

ix. Abigail Brown was born on 3 Feb 1713 in Stonington, New London, Connecticut. Abigail married James Pendleton .


x. Ruth Brown was born on 30 Jun 1714 in Stonington, New London, Connecticut and died on 20 May 1791 in Colchester, New London County, Connecticut, at age 76. Ruth married Benjamin Randall .

xi. Daniel Brown was born in 1716 in Stonington, New London, Connecticut and died before 1806, before age 90.1
 
1708 Eleazor and Ann joined the 1st Congregational Church of Stonington on 9 May 1708.3

Death 30 Nov 1734 Eleazer died on 30 November 1734 at Stonington, New London county, Connecticut. He is buried in Brown Cemetery which is also known as the Cedar Swamp Cemetery in North Stonington.1,2
