Birth circa 1864 Bertha was born circa 1864.2   On the 1900 US census both of her sons state that their mother was born in Norway.  Actually, suspect that Charles gave the information and not the boys.

Marriage 19 Aug 1882 Bertha Thompson married Charles Elmer Eastman, who was 26 years old, , son of Nelson Lee Eastman and Amanda Marish Melvina Smith, 19 August 1882.3,1  

Some time before his father died in 1890 Charles had moved to Willow Springs, Howell county,Missouri.  Charles took his mother, Amanda to live with him and his wife Bertha Thompson on his farm which was about 5 miles from Willow Spring in Howell county,

  Soon after the death of Nelson Eastman, other members of this family moved to Missouri.4

 
Death 29 Oct 1897 Bertha died on 29 October 1897 at Willow Springs,  Howell county, Missouri.2 
Burial Bertha was buried in Willow Springs  cemetery, Missouri. 4
