Birth 4 November 1796 Marilla was born on 4 November 1796 at Warsaw, Genessee then Wyoming county now, New York. Internment record says that she was born in 1797.1,2

Marriage between 1811
 and 1813		 Marilla Patterson married Nathaniel Henry Eastman, son of Abraham Dayton Eastman and Ruth Rundell, between 1811 and 1813 at New York. This marriage may have occurred in Genessee, now Wyoming county New York.  It may also have occurred in Marshall, Oneida county if they married before the move to Wyoming county. But since Marilla is said to have been born in Warsaw which is in Wyoming county and Nathaniel is said to have come to this county after the War of 1812 it seems more likely they were married after 1812 and in Wyoming county.1,3,4

Cen1850 27 August 1850 Marilla Patterson appears on the 1850 census of Middlebury, Wyoming county, New York Nathanel is a 56 year old farmer, born in Connecticut. Wife is Marilla 53 also born in Connecticut. They are living very close to sons Leander and Calvin.5

On the 1860 census Nathaniel appears as N. Eastman, 69 years old, born in Connecticut.  Wife is Marillo, which of course, if Marilla, who is 64 years old and born in Connecticut.  They have a hired hand, C. Palmer, born in Germany.  Son Calvin B is on the same sheet of the census.
Death 11 August 1878 Marilla died on 11 August 1878 at Warsaw,  Wyoming county, New York at age 81.1,2 
Burial Marilla was buried at W. Middlebury cemetery, New York.4
