!AInfoNew* 1688 Jonathan's father Thomas was killed by Indians. John Eastman, the brother of Thomas and uncle of this Jonathan, was the administrator of the estate and the guardian of Thomas' wife, Deborah, who is listed as "in captivity" and of a son. The son is most likely this Jonathan.4 
Marriage* 8 April 1701 Jonathan Eastman, 21 years old, married Hannah Green, who was 23 years old, 8 April 1701 in Haverhill, Massachusetts. They had at least 11 children. The names of those not followed further are:
Thomas, Abigail, Mehitable, Peter, Sarah, Elizabeth and Hannah. Which one of these, if any, was the baby that was killed by the Indians is not known to the author.2,1 
!AInfoNew 1745 Very few Eastman deaths (9 total) were recorded in Haverhill, and none were named Hannah. The Eastman name virtually disappears from Haverhill records after 1745.5

The exact date and location of death for both Jonathan and Hannah (Green) Eastman remains a mystery. The popular theory is that Jonathan had died somewhere in Rockingham County, New Hampshire around 1758. No probate has been located.5

Jonathan died on 30 May 1758 at Haverhill, at Essex county, at Massachusetts at age 78.3
