Caroline M Feldman is a 39 year old widow, born in Illinois is Feb 1861. She has had 4 children, 3 of whom are living. Son Alonzo J is 15, born in March 1885 in Illinois. Daughter Elsie C is 14, born in May 1887 and Daughter Ella May is 10, born in Jan of 1890. Christina Feldman, mother of Caroline's dead husband is a 70 year old widow, born in Germany in February of 1830. She has had 2 children, none of whom are living. A cousin, Susan Hensler is 23, born in Nov of 1876 in Illinois. She is a saleslady in a dry goods store.2

Marriage circa 1908 Alonzo J Feldman married Rena Fay McDonald circa 1908 in Illinois.5  

Cen1910 1910 Alonzo J Feldman and Rena Fay (?) show on the U.S. Census for 1910 at 743 64th Street, Oak Park, Cook county, Illinois.  Alonzo is 25 years old, born in Illinois, he is a stenographer for a publishing company. He has been married for two years old Rena F, who is 21. They have one child...William who was born in 1910. The district in which they live in Oak Park is ED 77 and is bounded by Madison, Austin, 12th and East Avenues.5

When Alonzo registered for the draft of WWI in 1918, he was living on RFD #2 in Hinsdale, DuPage county, Illinois.  He was married to Rena Fay and gives her as next of kin.  He is employed as a clerk for Michle Printing Press and Mfg. co in Chicago.  He is of medium height and build, with blue eyes and brown hair.

Cen1920 1920 Alonzo J Feldman shows on the 1920 U.S. census in 763  South Ridgeland, Oak Park,, Cook county, Illinois. Alonzo is 34 years old, living in a mortgaged house. He was born in Illinois and is the secretary for the manufacturing manager of a Printing co. Wife is Rena F who is 31. They have one son, William who is 10.6

Cen 1930 10 April 1930 Alonzo J Feldman and Rena Fay (?) were found on the 1930 US census taken on on 10 April 1930 in at 210 12th Avenue Sterling city, Sterling township, Whiteside county, Illinois.  Alonzo is 45, owns a $6000 house and has a radio. He is employed as a secretary in a Level factory. His wife is Rena Fay who is 41. They were first married when Alonzo was 22. Son William M is 20 and not employed.7

He was a stenographer in Chicago. Florence Meyer or Mayer said in a letter to Doreathea Howard in 1962 that he was living in Rock Falls or Sterling, Illinois. In 1962 he would have been about 76 years old.8
