I'm responding to your Trumbull County, OH post about Titus and Daniel
Webster Brockway. I don't know any of the wives of Titus the elder other
than Minerva Palmer who died in 1827. Titus died in 1840. He did have two
sons named Edward (born 1804) and Daniel Webster (date of birth unknown).
Is it possible that the 13 year old Daniel Webster Brockway in the household
with Edward was a son of Edward's and not his brother? What do you know
about the dates of birth of the children or other wives of Titus?

Birth* circa 1837 Daniel Webster was born circa 1837 at Hartford, Trumbull, Ohio. 
(Witness) Cen1840 1840 Daniel Webster Brockway may appear on the 1840 census with Fanny Selby in Hartford, Trumbull county, Ohio, There is a Fanny Brockway on the 1840 census in Hartford. There are males in the household. but she is listed as the Householder. Possibly he was so ill as not to be considered the Head of the Household.

The youngest Male is possibly Daniel Webster Brockway since in 1840 he would be about 3 years old. The male 15-20 (born between 1820 and 1825) and the male 20-30 (born between 1810 and 1820) are not identified. Titus, as far as this researcher knows, did not have any male children of that age. They could be hired help, or relatives just living with them. The Female 30-40 is Susan who was born in 1802. The female 40-50 is therefore Fanny.2,3 
!AInfoNew* 1840 This child is listed in the Guardianship papers in the estate of Titus Brockway, Book11, p 19. Even tho' he appears on the 1850 census in the household of his brother, actually 1/2 brother, Edward, it appears that he is not the child of Edward but rather is there as his father is dead and Edward was the administrator of the father's, ie. Titus', estate.4 
Cen1850* 1850 Daniel Webster Brockway appears on the 1850 census of Hartford, Trumbull county, Ohio living with Edward Brockway and Mandana as 13 years old. There is also a Maria Brockway who is 48 in this household. Not sure who she is. She may be the wife of a cousin of Edwards.5 
Milit-Beg* 31 August 1861 Daniel Webster Brockway began his military service on 31 August 1861 from at Ohio. No place for enlistment is given in this data base. He was 25 years old.6 
Note* 1 September 1861 He served in Co A 41st Reg. OVI during the Civil War.7,8 
Death* 12 April 1864 Daniel Webster died on 12 April 1864. History of Trumbull county only states that he died serving during the Civil War. But the cemetery stone says that he died at Andersonville. The Andersonville records DO NOT show that he died in that prison or was a prisoner there. And he may not actually be buried in Hartford, tho' there is a stone in the cemetery.9,10,7,8
