Ashtabula county says that they had "Children" that were born in Ohio
and died as infants. Also, it is said that during the first 7 months
that they lived in Ohio she did not see another white woman.5,6 |
| July 1798 | In July of 1798 Aaron Brockway brought the first
family to Vernon township in Trumbull county Ohio. The first births in
the township were Aaron's children, that died as infants. Other early

that brother Titus was also a very early resident of this area and is
considered the first permanent resident of Hartford.7 |

1789 a marriage in Ohio is possible. Though he could have returned to
Connecticut to marry.6,4 |

in Hartford, Trumbull county, Ohio, with a household that is recorded
as 011110001 01111001. This would mean that he was 60 to 70 years old
and therefore born between 1760 and 1770. The youngest 4 children are
Uriah, Emily, Olive and Edmund. It is hard to decide who the older four
are since there is no male born between 1811 and 1815 that was alive in
1830.13 |
