research* Find Not sure how this marriage to Ann LInn got in with this man. There is a family of Linn's in the area that married with the Black and Dinvinney which might be Dinwiddie. Ancestry.com has a lot on this family. Anna Black is possibly related to this man. Done on Derrick's computer and could not transfer. July 2002.

Name Variation Robert McCreary was also found as Robert McGreary. 
Birth* 17 April 1772 Robert was born on 17 April 1772 at York (Adams) county, Pennsylvania.2 
Marriage 1796 Robert McCreary married Anna Black, daughter of Henry Black and Mary Weems, 1796 in Adams county, Pennsylvania.3,4,5  
research* 1808 Find 1808 Robert McCrearyand Ann Linn were in this data base as husband and wife from information from the will of the grandmother of Ann Linn, ie Ann Black. This may or not be the correct relationship. In the will the name of Ann Linn's husband appears to be Robert McGreary and that is the way that it is entered here.6
