1956 James married Carol E. Horne on 2 Sept 1856 in Michigan. They were distant cousins. Her mother was Edna Jean Green daughter of Arba Horace Green, son of Edgar Julian Green who was a brother to Charlie Green. See  for more info and pictures.

Death 24 Jan 2001 James Horace died in Sheridan, Montcalm county, Michigan 5. He died of a heart attack. They lived in Ionia Michigan.4

Note from Vera Hutchings, cousin of this man:

James' wife Carol was a 4th cousin who grew up in Ionia. Upon marriage, he moved there and bought that farm. When he got the deed and checked the former owners, he found that it was the very farm that Albert Clayton Dunsmore had owned before he emigrated to Mo. in 1885, strange coincidence. The barn was built with no nails, and looked just like Grandpa C.C. Green's barn in Thayer.
