| Note from Vera Hutchings, cousin of this man: James' wife Carol was a 4th cousin who grew up in Ionia. Upon marriage, he moved there and bought that farm. When he got the deed and checked the former owners, he found that it was the very farm that Albert Clayton Dunsmore had owned before he emigrated to Mo. in 1885, strange coincidence. The barn was built with no nails, and looked just like Grandpa C.C. Green's barn in Thayer. |
