Cen1920 19 Jan 1920 Charles R Towner shows on the 1920 U.S. census in 31 Harrison Street, Bath village, Steuben county, New York. Charles is 36 years old, born in New York, employed as a machinist in a mill and owns a mortgaged house. Rachel is 35, born in New York. They have two children. Leo C is 6 and Ruth Rachel is 3 3/12.3

Cen 1930 1930 Charles R Towner and Rachel B Washburn were found on the 1930 US census taken on in 1930 in at 360 West Street, Bath Village, Steuben county, New York. Charles is a pumper in the water works. He is 47 years old, first married when 28 years old. They rent a house @ $15 per month. Rachel B is 45. Charles L, who appeared as Leo C. on the 1920 census is 16 and Rachael R, who appeared as Ruth R on the 1920 census is 13. Solomon Washburn, the father of Rachel, the wife, is 85 years old. If his birthday is correct on the 1900 census then he should be about 87 years old.1

Death 1958 Charles R died in  25 Feb 1958.1,2 
Burial Charles was buried at Grove Cemetery in Bath, New York.2
