Mary is his wife and she is 46 years old. Children at home are:

Eugene 6 and
John 9/12, born in Sept of 1869.2

Wife is Mary, born in Canada in May 1870. They have been married for 7 years, that is since 1893. She has had 3 children, all of whom are living. They are: Eva B, born June 1895, 4 years old; Fredie C, born Dec 1897, 2 years old and Osborn A, born May 1899, 1 year old. There are several other Lyon families on the same page of this census.7

They have been married for 16 years and have had 6 children all of which are living. Children are:

Cen1920* 1920 John Wesley Lyon shows on the 1920 U.S. census in Naples, Ontario county, New York. John is a farmer, 50 years old, Mary is 49, a naturalized citizen. All children are still in the household. Eva is a clerk and the three old boys are farm laborers.9 
Cen 1930* 10 April 1930 John Wesley Lyon and Mary (?) were found on the 1930 US census taken on on 10 April 1930 in at Naples, Ontario county, New York. John is a 60 year old farmer, born in New York, first married when 23. Wife is Maud, but since she is 59 and born in Canada this is likely the same woman that appears as Mary on the other census. Children still at home are:
Osburn 29, a carpenter
Milford 24, a farmer
Ralph 18 a farmer.
They own their farm and have a radio.10

John Wesley died on 7 January 1940 at New York at age 70.1
