In 1900 Minnie is living with mother and step father in Fayette township, Hillsdale county, Michigan. Mr. Humphrey is 33 years old and Hattie is 38. 3 of her 5 children are in this household. Minnie is 18, Willie is 10 and Alvin is 13. Sister Caroline is employed as a servant in a household in Jonesville which is also in Fayette township.

In 1910 Minnie is 27 years old, born in Dakota and is employed as a cutter for (not readible). They are living next door to Hattie's daughter Carrie and her family.
