Cen1850 12 Aug 1850 Phebe Mott Hoag and Charles Grow George appear on the 1850 census of Marengo, Calhoun county, Michigan on page 161B, line 14. Charles is 39 years old, born in Vermont and is the Post Master. Phebe is 36 and born in Vermont. Children are:

Death 17 Jan 1858 Phebe Mott died on 17 January 1858 at Keeler, at Van Buren county, at Michigan at age 43. Austin George says that she died in Marengo, Michigan. Marengo is east of Battle Creek close to I94.
Burial Phebe was buried in Keeler cemetery in Keeler, Michigan.5   So it is possible that she died in Keeler.
