| Birth | 8 January 1756 | Elizabeth
was born on 8 January 1756. She is said to be 1/2 Iriquois Indian. No
indication where these researchers found the birth date. Actually the
Indians that lived in what is now New Jersey were not Iriquios but
Delaware. They called themselves "Lenapi" or "Lenni". It is not likely that
Elizabeth was an Iriquois but more likely of the Lenapi tribe.3,4,5 |
| Marriage | circa 1775 | Elizabeth (?) married Johan Isaac
Hannold Sr., son of Hans George
Hannold and Jane Johanna
Draworth,
circa 1775 in New Jersey. 1776 is given by

| HELP | 1814 | There is some thought that
Elizabeth, wife of Johann Isaac Hannold, might be a Marple? |

| Census | 1830 | It is possible that she is living
with son Joseph on the 1830 census in Greenwich township, Gloucester
co. NJ. There is a female on that census that is 70-80 years old. Of
course, the 1830 only gives the name of the head of the household.6 |
| Death | December 1836 | Elizabeth died in December 1836 at
age 80.5 |
| Lewis William Thomas, said that he was full blood Mohegan Indian, stated by Grand daughter Prudence Thomas Snyder. This is not likely so, but he may have been partly Mohegan Indian. He was a gggrandson of the Elizabeth that we have heard was Indian. Was she the Mohican Indian?7 Bears thought!! |
