Maria De Meyer died on 1 January 1937 at Rochester, Monroe County, New York, USA, at age 76.
Mrs. Van Landschoot, aged 76 years, of 24 Banker Road, Friday, Jan. 1, 1937. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Camiel Dauwe and Mrs. Edmond Versluys; five sons, Henry, Richard, Julius, Edmond and Camiel Van Landschoot; five grandchildren; four sisters and three brothers in Belgium. Deceased was a member of the Rosary Society of Our Lady of Victory Church. Services Monday morning at 8:45 from the home and at 9:30 o'clock at Our Lady of Victory Church.1 She was buried on 4 January 1937 at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery,lot 162, South 9, Rochester, Monroe County, New York, She was buried with her son Renee on the same plot.

Camille Van Landschoot died before 1945 at Rochester, Monroe County, New York, USA. I talked to my mother the other day and she remembered some more info on Camiel!!! She says that he was in the Army and that he married a girl whose father was a higher up in the Army. She also said that he went to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and that my grandmother (Madeline) and grandfather went there one time to try and locate him but couldn't find him.

     Jules Leopold Van Landschoot was born on 20 March 1895 at St Laureins, Belgium. He was the son of Ferdinand Van Landschoot and Maria De Meyer. Jules Leopold Van Landschoot married Alida Roelandt, daughter of Joannes Roelandt and Emma Van Daele, on 1 August 1914 at Rochester, Monroe County, New York. According to Elaine Hutton (tel : 716 218 4034) of Rochester, NY. Julius was first married to a woman of Chicago, ILL.This woman was Alida Roelandt of Maldeghem, Belgium, according to my research. They were married shortly after her arrival in the US in 1914. After the divorce she went to live in Chicago. Julius married for a second time with Margereth Bonne, daughter of August Bonne and Louise Van Hool of Staatssteenweg at Adeghem,Belgium. August and his daughters Celestine (17Y) and Clara (age 19) immigrated to the US, leaving the port of Rotterdam on april 27th 1915 and arriving at the Port of New york on the SS Potsdam on may 6th 1915. August came back after a while. Clara Bonne married Richard Van Caeseele of Maldeghem, their daughter is Elaine Van Caeseele (Hutton). Richard immigrated in 1915 at age 20 to the US. The parents of Elaine Hutton, Richard and Clara Van Caeseele are buried in the same plot as Julius and Margereth Van Landschoot. Their wives were the sisters Clara and Margereth Bonne. Stones says Van Caesele Van Landschoot. Julius died on Christmas eve 1940.1 Jules Leopold Van Landschoot married Margereth C Bonne, daughter of August Bonne and Louise Van Hool, on 21 November 1934 at Niagara Falls, Niagara County, New York. The Bonne family original of Adegem, Belgium resided in 1900 at Staatssteenweg, Adegem according to records of Ellis Island. The entire family immigrated between 1910 and 1915. They all settled in the Rochester area. Clara was a servant in the household of Levy Bonney at Kensington street in Rochester. Clara married Richard Van Caesele of Maldeghem, their daughter was Elaine Van Caesele Hutton. Her parents, Julius Van Landschoot and his wife Margeret Bonne are buried in the same plot "Van Caesele - Van Landschoot". Marriage license to Julius Van Landschott and Margaret Bonne, both of Detroit, Michigan.2,3 Jules Leopold Van Landschoot died on 24 December 1940 at Rochester, Monroe County, New York, USA, at age 45. He was a brewery worker who was fatally injured when he fell from a ladder striking his head on the floor.
